1. Terms & Conditions

Welcome

Welcome to Stayloco.io. These Terms & Conditions govern your use of our website and all reservations made through Stayloco.io. By accessing our website or making a reservation, you agree to these Terms.

Company

Stayloco.io is an online vacation rental booking platform offering professionally managed vacation homes throughout Florida. Some properties are owned by Stayloco.io, while others are managed by affiliated property management companies.

Reservation Eligibility

To make a reservation, the booking guest must:

Be at least 25 years of age.
Provide valid government-issued identification upon request.
Provide accurate billing and contact information.
Accept these Terms & Conditions.

The individual making the reservation is financially and legally responsible for all occupants and visitors during the stay.

Payments

Reservations are confirmed only after payment has been successfully processed. Stayloco.io accepts approved payment methods displayed during checkout.

Security Deposit & Damage

Certain properties may require a refundable security deposit, damage waiver, or credit card authorization.

Guests are responsible for any damage to the property, excessive cleaning, missing items, smoking violations, unauthorized pets, or other costs resulting from violations of these Terms. Charges may be applied to the payment method on file where permitted by law and the booking agreement.

Check-In & Check-Out

Check-In: 4:00 PM
Check-Out: 10:00 AM

Early check-in and late check-out may be available upon request and may incur additional fees.

Occupancy

Each property has a maximum occupancy listed in the property description. Only registered overnight guests may stay at the property.

Unauthorized guests may result in additional fees or termination of the reservation without refund.

Guest Conduct

Guests agree to:

Respect neighbors.
Observe quiet hours from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM.
Keep the property reasonably clean.
Report maintenance issues promptly.
Follow all posted house rules.
Refrain from hosting parties or events unless expressly authorized.

Smoking

Smoking and vaping are prohibited inside all properties unless specifically stated otherwise. Violation may result in a minimum $500 cleaning fee plus any additional remediation costs.

Pets

Only approved pets are permitted at designated pet-friendly properties. Pet fees may apply. Unauthorized pets may result in additional charges.

Amenities

Amenities such as hot tubs, pools, grills, miniature golf, bicycles, kayaks, docks, game rooms, and similar recreational features are used entirely at the guest's own risk.

Children must be supervised at all times.

Maintenance

While Stayloco.io strives to keep all amenities operational, temporary interruptions may occur due to maintenance, weather, utility outages, or circumstances beyond our control.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Stayloco.io, its owners, affiliates, employees, and property managers shall not be liable for:

Personal injury
Illness
Theft
Loss of personal property
Vehicle damage
Utility outages
Internet interruptions
Weather events
Wildlife encounters
Temporary equipment failures

Our maximum liability shall not exceed the total amount paid for the reservation.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Florida.

Any disputes shall be resolved in the appropriate state or federal courts located in Sarasota County, Florida, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

2. Privacy Policy

Stayloco.io respects your privacy.

We collect information necessary to:

Process reservations
Verify guest identity
Prevent fraud
Improve our services
Provide customer support
Comply with legal obligations

We may collect:

Name
Address
Email
Telephone number
Government-issued ID (when required)
Payment information
Reservation history
Device and website analytics

We do not sell your personal information.

Information is shared only with trusted service providers, payment processors, identity verification services, property managers, or governmental authorities when legally required.

3. Cancellation & Refund Policy

Cancellation policies are displayed before booking and form part of your reservation.

Unless otherwise specified:

30+ days before arrival: 100% refund.
14–29 days before arrival: 50% refund.
Less than 14 days: Non-refundable.

Travel insurance is strongly recommended.

4. House Rules

Guests agree to:

Respect neighbors.
No parties or events without written approval.
Observe quiet hours from 10:00 PM–8:00 AM.
No smoking indoors.
No illegal drugs or illegal activities.
No fireworks.
Follow all posted safety instructions.
Use amenities responsibly.

5. Pet Policy

Where pets are permitted:

Maximum of two approved pets.
Maximum weight of 50 lbs each unless otherwise approved.
Additional pet fees may apply.
Guests must clean up after pets.
Pets may not be left unattended unless approved.

Unauthorized pets may result in a minimum $250 fee plus any damage costs.

6. Damage Protection Policy

Guests are responsible for damage caused during their stay, including but not limited to:

Furniture
Appliances
Electronics
Linens
Mattresses
Flooring
Walls
Windows
Outdoor amenities
Excessive cleaning
Smoking damage

Repair or replacement costs may be charged to the payment method used for the reservation.

7. Guest Rental Agreement

By completing a reservation, guests acknowledge that they:

Have reviewed the property listing.
Agree to all Stayloco.io policies.
Accept responsibility for all occupants and visitors.
Authorize Stayloco.io to recover legitimate damage-related charges.
Understand that violations may result in immediate termination of the reservation without refund where permitted by law.

Electronic acceptance constitutes a binding agreement where legally recognized.
